Holder, Poet |
| Only
when you say
you love me
will I take my shirt off.
Will
you then
place your hands
on the cup of my
rounded shoulders?
Stroke
my protruding belly
as it shakes like jelly?
Will you
run
your fingers
through the gray hairs
of my middle-aged breasts?
And
my love
will you love
the rest? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | The
Crack In The Back
| Surely
it
is something in their genes--
or is it in their blue jeans?
Those
that droop
to reveal that crack
in the back.
Not to make
them
a
butt
of a joke
and I am surely
not being
tongue-in-cheek,
either
one
mind you!
Perhaps
one affects
the style
to
display
a dichotomy--
or more likely
a didactic
on
anatomy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
